Nashville Star Semi-Finalist Sean Patrick McGraw Returns to UpTown Country

Former Nashville Star semi-finalist Sean Patrick McGraw leads one of the hardest working unsigned touring acts in the U.S. Following the 2005 release of his critically aclaimed CD "Songs for Saturday Night" McGraw and band hit the road running and have yet to show signs of slowing down.

2007 saw McGraw playing over 140 dates from Toronto to Mobile to Las Vegas, garnering raves from critics and concert-goers alike. Describing his music as "something like Lyle Lovett singing Springsteen songs while wearing Dwight Yoakams' hat," McGraw has earned respect among songwriters as well; his song "FIONA" winning top honors at last years Independent Music Awards, first place at the American Songwriting Competition, at the Mountain Stages New Song Festival, as well as being named finalist in the International Songwriting Competiton and the Mid Atlantic Song Competition.

Esteemed Music Row critic/columnist hailed "FIONA" as "The classiest country rocker I've heard all year." This cut and others from McGraw's "Songs For Saturday Nigt" release are featured in the short-length documentary "Ten Days on Tour" which aired on CMT in 2006.
